You can feel the cold in those shots, love the fungus I guess that is what it is growning on the tree branch. It almost looks like a mushroom and then again maybe it is?
Very interesting growth on the trees. I see I'm not the only one who didn't recognize what it is. It looks like a fungus, but I never saw fungus growing like that on a tree. Nice work, Helen.
I also think it is a fungus but i am so much not expert in those thingies as Linda said :) The wood you see it is a part of Appalachia trail, right on our backyard. Thanks a lot for such nice comments. And yes, I used macro lenses, camera is really heavy with that but you can take pictures from far away
